Entry 42: Tiana Iverson

Bloody deadheads are going to have to find some other poor saps to play with now.  John, Markus and I have joined up with a larger group, and they've been downright hospitable, even gave us these voice recorder things.  Not really sure what they're intending by having so many, but I know I'll certainly be able to put mine to good use.  Remembering.  Not just remembering things worth grabbing now, but the past, before the big mad-day, or Z-A Day as these other people have been calling it.  Remembering my parents, and the summers spent at the lakehouse.  Remembering childhood crushes and friends who I lost touch with, and remembering teachers and classmates and lovers and even the little shits who made my life more difficult with their petty bullshit.  Even them.  Because things can't go back to how they were.  But we can remember.  Learn from it.  Try to remember why we still fight to stay alive instead of giving up.  Remembering hurts, but its better than forgetting it all.
