Entry 43: Markus Pierce

Seems the team we've joined up with has got a good strategy for our trip into the next town.  Needing to stockup on supplies, preferably frozen goods to put in my truck if able.  Ice cream went by pretty fast even with rationing since Tiana, John and I had ate a lot of it since we didn't have much else due to the high volume of zeds.  There's some energy bars and canned food, but not much else.  Tiana shot a cow near the highway, but when we got to it there was almost no meat on it due to its starving in the winter due to no farmer around.  The noise drew a few zeds, but we could see them far enough off to be able to leave before they got anywhere near.  Also spooked off a couple crows that had been pecking at something in the snow not too far from the cow.  Definitely agreeing with Billy that we need to start working on making bow and arrows to be able to take out food at least silently.  There was a lot of snow on the highway since the last time it was plowed, but between the plow they had taken with them and the Humvee we still made some decent distance today.
